But Lions are now on second position owing to a better goal aggregate followed by Blue Eagles on third position and Mighty Wanderers on fourth position.

Defending champions Big Bullets, who were held to one-all draw by Kamuzu Barracks at Dedza Stadium on Saturday, are now on fifth position.

Azam Tigers moved to position six with seven points after beating Civo United 2-0 at Civo Stadium in Lilongwe.

Meanwhile, Silver Strikers collected first points after a 2-0 victory over rookies Mzuni at Silver Stadium.

The victory comes after two back-to-back losses in the former champions’ opening fixtures.

The bankers lost 1-0 to Bullets in the launch game at Civo Stadium two weeks ago.

They were later defeated by Mafco at Chitowe in their second fixture.

But yesterday they got things right getting the better of the rookies, who on Saturday stunned Epac 1-0.
