Malawi has great talent —EU Ambassador
By Sam Banda Jnr:
Head of the European Union (EU) Delegation to Malawi, Sandra Paesen, has said Malawi has great talent, hence they support arts and cultural projects in the country.
Paesen said this on Wednesday in Lilongwe ahead of Europe Day today.
The EU Ambassador on Wednesday interacted with DJs at Music Crossroads, where the latter are undergoing a DJ lab training which DJ Mukambo from Belgium is facilitating.
“The training is a great project and the first of its kind in the country.
“I would like to thank Music Crossroads Malawi for spearheading the project. We, as EU, want to stimulate arts in the country,” Paesen said.

Paesen said deejaying had a lot to offer to people, in terms of entertainment.
“Culture and arts are the way to go for young people in the country.
“We are happy to contribute something to the development of arts and culture and this also shows that Africa and Europe are connected,” she said.
