“This is a team full of talent. These are youngsters and I know that Malawians will support them. Competition was stiff and it was not easy to decide on which player to pick. During training, we were looking at talent, willingness to learn and the spirit to fight for the team,” he said.

Msakakuona said he was also mindful of the youngsters’ future as they needed to be properly groomed.

“We were also considering their future. This is not the end; it is just the beginning. We have a good squad which Malawians will love,” he said.
