Malawi, Zimbabwe representatives unveiled in My Booth

The representatives of Malawi and Zimbabwe in My Booth, a reality show that will bring a battle of contestants from three countries have been unveiled.
The country’s five representatives are Sindi, Joe Kells, Chisomo Chimoto, Alipo Mpita and Vanessa Nalikungwi whereas Zimbabwe has Tafadzwa Matiure, Kudzai Shayamano, Smangaliso Mkhize, Evidence Manhanda and Shantel Nyanhete.
Chimoto, a sister to celebrated musician Skeffa Chimoto, said she was super excited to be part of My Booth and represent Malawi.
“This means more and I am happy to star for my country,” she said.
Joe Kells also said he was excited to be part of the representatives for Malawi.
The representatives for Zambia will be unveiled today.
Elation Entertainment which signed the country’s musician Patience Namadingo led by its Chief Executive Officer Sokwani Chilembo is leading My Booth which started airing on May 14 2023 on Power Television on DStv channel 278 and Gotv channel 19.
Through My Booth, Chilembo said contestants will share one house, one band and one microphone for the ultimate prize with the show set to run with 13 episodes.
He added that they will have 15 contestants with five each representing each country and that the winner will walk away with US$50,000 recording deal and US$ 10,000 cash.
Chilembo, who is one of the judges alongside Namadingo and Maureen Lilanda, said the whole essence of creating My Booth is to bring out the best talents from the region and showcase its sound which he indicated is unique.
