As one way of celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ Sunday, Mandevu Farm, a full house of fun and entertainment along Zomba-Machinga road, will treat people to a free braai today.
Mandevu Farm Manager, Meya Kalindekafe, said the idea to have a free braai for their fans was to show love to people “just as Jesus Christ showed love to the world by dying for us”.
“We are where we are today as Mandevu Farm because of the support we get from people and the best thing to reward them with during Easter was to treat them to a free braai,” Kalindekafe said.
She said as people will be enjoying the food, they will also be sampling some of the food they serve and it includes goat meat, beef, offals and pork served with Irish potatoes, Mandevu salads and a special Mama Mandevu Kitchen soup.
He also revealed that Mandevu Farm intends to introduce a new dish, which would be served with crocodile meat.
“We are known for our traditional lifestyle in everything, starting with the way we treat customers to serving food that is traditional and then we offer local music and traditional dances, all this is part of promoting and preserving culture,” Kalindekafe said.
