South African singer, songwriter and actor Martin PK jetted into the country through Chileka International Airport in Blantyre on Tuesday ahead of his performance at this year’s Have And Enjoy Life or Zoe (Haez) at KCA Garden in Blantyre.

Martin PK is part of the Christ Embassy’s Love World Music and Arts Ministry.

In 2017, Martin PK and his song ‘Beautiful Jesus’ won a Lima Award for Song of the Year.

Martin PK said on arrival that he was looking forward to a great time to minister the word of God through music.

“This is my second time to come here and I am ready for Haez and looking forward to an exciting time. We are living in tough times where people need hope and, so, we need these moments,” he said.

Martin PK also said he has new music and, so, people should look forward to sample new tracks from him during Haez.

Deputy Director for RFP Directorate of Impact Through Social Initiatives (ITSI) and spokesperson for Haez Organising Committee Pastor Dan Tambala said they were excited that Martin PK was here.

“He is our headliner for this year and having him is something special and exciting and we are looking forward to having a great time with him,” Tambala said.

He said, apart from Martin PK, there are several artists set to perform during this year’s Haez.

“It’s about teaching the gospel through different talents. God gave us different talents and we have to use these gifts to minister God’s word,” he said.

Haez started performing in 2016.

A press statement from Raised for a Purpose Music and Arts Ministry (RFPMAM), which is under Raised for a Purpose Ministries (RFP), says Haez is a life changing event filled with live performances from RFPMAM-spirit filled artists.

“In RFP ministries we have a goal to preach the gospel and win many to Christ. Haez event is one of the platforms that God gave us, through Pastor Aubrey, to allow artists in the ministry to perform and minister so that man should understand fully the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ,” Tambala said.
