Medical Aid Society of Malawi (Masm) has partnered Times Group for the live coverage of Flames’ games at this year’s Cosafa Cup.

Through the partnership, Masm has pumped in K600,000 for football commentator Williams Gondwa’s travel expenses to the tournament.

Masm Marketing Officer, Ednah Kamwendo, said the partnership with Times Group is aimed at ensuring that soccer lovers follow Flames’ adventures in South Africa through Times Radio.

“As Masm, we believe in the well-being of our clients and we want them to enjoy themselves through following the Flames as they play Cosafa Cup [games]. We feel that we will manage to promote our services through this partnership with Times Group,” Kamwendo said.

Times Group Advertising Manager, Alfred Kanjere, hailed Masm for the partnership, saying Times Radio will work hard to ensure that soccer lovers follow every minute of the action.

“Besides the live commentaries, we will also be having regular updates in our papers as well as Times TV. We remain the most listened to radio station as far as football commentary is concerned and we strongly believe that our partners will massively benefit,” Kanjere said.
