Masters Security FC’ opponents to charter plane
Masters Security FC’s Confederation of African Football (Caf) Cup opponents, Atletico Petroleos de Luanda of Angola, will charter a plane when coming to Lilongwe for the second-leg scheduled for Tuesday.
Masters General Secretary, Zachariah Nyirenda, Thursday confirmed that their counterparts would fly directly to Malawi with a 30-member delegation on Sunday.
He said Masters would foot the bills of their counterparts to reciprocate the Angolans’ hosting of the TNM Super League strugglers in the first-leg.
“They told us that they would charter a plane and we are set to host them. We will be responsible for their expenses, such as accommodation, meals and transportation.
“We have observed that they have included a nutritionist in their delegation,” Nyirenda said.
Masters hope to overturn a 5-0 loss they suffered to Petroleos in Luanda on Saturday in the first-leg.
Masters need to score six unanswered goals if they are to proceed to the next round of the Caf competition.
