After a two-year dysfunctional voice battle, songstress Mbumba Nkhoma has reappeared with her second album titled Love Changes.
The album, in which she has collaborated with other artists such as Rudo Mkukupa Chakwera and Dan Lu, drops on November 12, 2022.
“When I was expecting my daughter, I could not sing, my voice refused to come out because of the way my diaphragm was accommodating the changes in the body,” Mbumba said.
She said her healing process and finding her voice again has taught her to appreciate life from a new perspective.
“Life has many dimensions I thought of love for this album. I asked questions about being in love and whole but most of all bring awareness on things that women struggle with during pregnancy and post-partum depression,” Mbumba said.
Some of the songs that make up the album include ‘Ndimafuna’.
