Meke Mwase beef up TN Stars

Newly-promoted TNM Super League side, TN Stars, have hinted that they might beef up their squad before they start life in the top-flight league.
The Kasungu-based side earned promotion to the Super League after beating Support Battalion 1-0 at Kasungu Stadium on Sunday.
Stars have 76 points, nine points above second-placed Holy Cross Ambassadors.
Soon after promotion, Stars Coach, Meke Mwase, said he would focus on bolstering the squad.
“Obviously, we need to add depth to squad because the TNM Super League is tougher.
We will build a good team, and we would be a team to watch in the top- flight league, “he said.
Stars Captain Stanley Davie and striker China Chirwa have been in top form for Stars this season.
Chirwa netted the only goal against Support on Sunday.
Davie described their promotion to the Super League as a dream come true.
“Our fans have been outstanding throughout the season. Unity and hard-work were key for us,” Davie said.
Stars have joined in the Super League Karonga United and Nchalo United from the
Northern and Southern regions, respectively.
Stars would be officially crowned Chipiku Premier Division champions this weekend when they meet Msundwe at Msundwe Ground in Lilongwe in a final match of the season.
