Mighty Wanderers ponder over Babatunde’s case

Mighty Wanderers are yet to decide on whether to proceed with the transfer case involving striker Babatunde Adepoju’s switch to rivals Nyasa Big Bullets.
The development comes after Football Association of Malawi (Fam) asked Wanderers to provide evidence that the Nigerian was still contracted to the club when he signed for Bullets.
Wanderers General Secretary Fadwique Matemba said they had not yet discussed the matter but clarified that they believe that it was the player’s choice to sign for Bullets.
“It is now up to us to see the way forward like planning what we can do in his absence. As it stands, we haven’t done anything in response to what Fam asked us to do,” he said.
Babatunde, having penned a three-year-deal, was included in Bullets’ Caf Champions League squad.
