Mike Kalulu, Sheila Chinkhandwe win Design Printers’ golf
Seasoned golfer Mike Kalulu emerged champion of Design Printers Valentines Golf Tournament held at Lilongwe Golf Club (LGC) on Sunday.
Kalulu finished as the champion with 38 points followed by Gift Landisi on 37 points. Chikunkha Soko finished on third position with 36 points.
In his speech, Kalulu hailed Design Printers for organising the competition.
“It was a great day for me and I enjoyed the competition. I am glad because I have started the New Year on a good note,” Kalulu said.
In the ladies’ category, Sheila Chinkhandwe emerged the champion with 34 points followed by Jochebed Mpanga on 31 points.
In his remarks, Runil Patel, who spoke on behalf of Design Printers during the prize presentation, described the tournament as a success.
“We received an overwhelming response from the golfers and the tournament was exciting. We will continue sponsoring the tournament,” he said.
LGC Captain Brian Coombes also thanked Design Printers for the sponsorship the event which pooled 75 golfers.
