Defender Miracle Gabeya has re-joined Nyasa Big Bullets following his return from South Africa where he did not secure a deal.
Gabeya, while confirming his return to Bullets, said he was yet to sign a new deal.
“Discussions are still underway but I am now back at Bullets,” he said.
Bullets Chief Administration Officer Albert Chigoga confirmed Gabeya’s return to the Peoples Team after agreeing personal terms with the player.
“He is now with us. As you recall, we offered him a contract on his return from South Africa last year but he refused to sign. This year, we offered him another contract after returning from South Africa again. This time we discussed personal terms and he has agreed to sign a contract,” Chigoga said.
The defender featured for Bullets in two friendly games against Kamuzu Barracks and Mafco last weekend.
Despite being linked with DSTV Premiership sides such as giants Kaizer Chiefs, TS Galaxy and Highlands Park, Gabeya failed to secure a deal due to Covid-19 pandemic.
This was not the first time for Gabeya to travel to South Africa for trials as he also underwent trials at Bloemfontein Celtic and Chiefs in 2018.
