Mokoomba excited to perform at Lake of Stars Festival
Zimbabwean afro-fusion group Mokoomba has said they are excited to perform at the Lake of Stars Festival for the second time.
The Lake of Stars Festival will be held at Sunbird Nkopola in Mangochi from September 25 to 27. Mokoomba arrives in the country on September 25 and will perform on September 26.
The group which has performed in several countries described Lake of Stars as one of the top festivals and that they are happy to perform as headliners this year. Apart from performing at the Lake of Stars, the group has also performed at the Blantyre Arts Festival (BAF).
However, their first performance in Malawi was during the Music Crossroads Inter-regional competition in Lilongwe in 2008 where they came out top. Their triumph during the competition marked the perfect journey into their music career.
