Moyale Barracks FC brace for tough season
Moyale Barracks FC Coach, Collins Nkuna, has conceded that he has a tough challenge to start impressing in the 2016 TNM Super League season.
Nkuna said this on Sunday when his team lost 1-0 to Mzuni FC at Mzuzu Stadium.
“Today, we created a lot of chances, but failed to score because most of my players, especially strikers, were not composed. Of course, we try to instruct the players about composure, but most of the times, it is just talent of that particular player. For now, we have conceded defeat and we will start working for next game,” Nkuna said.
He, however, remained optimistic as the league is in its early stages.
Lughindiko Mshani scored in the 10th minute into the second half, after a barren first half with two penalty misses from Mzuni and Moyale, through Fraston Chisi and Juma Chikwenga in the third and 30th minutes, respectively.
Mzuni Coach, Alex Ngwira, admitted that being the first Mzuzu derby this season, it was a tough game.
“We have learnt some two or three things that we need to work on so that next weekend we should produce another victory against Max Bullets,” Ngwira said.
