Twenty-two-year-old student from Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences, Ketson Kayuni, has published a motivational book titled Life Purpose, Living Your Life in Full.
Kayuni said Wednesday that he is passionate about writing and that he decided to take a step in writing a book.
“I believe it starts from within and our mind is everything and can make us accomplish anything. I am happy to have taken this huge step of publishing my own book. This is a book in which I implore people to buy and read and, at the end of it all, they will no longer be the same,” the youthful writer said.
He said the book was all about giving people an insight into their purpose in life.
“In the book, people will get to encounter a collection of motivational and inspirational stories about life matters and other elements,” Kayuni said.
He said the book was inspired by what he has been observing among fellow youths.
“The youth have a chance or option to choose who they want to become in future through motivation talks and other areas, but small things make us fail to reach our goal, like not knowing what to do and the fear. This book is trying to help someone find a good direction,” the Blantyre-based budding writer said.
Kayuni, who is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, said the book took him two years to put together.
He added that the book was also inspired by motivational speaker and entrepreneur Henry Kachaje, who has been in the forefront teaching about turning talent into an asset.
