MultiChoice Malawi has reduced subscription rates for its bouquets by between seven and 24 percent effective November 1.
A statement issued on Wednesday shows subscribers on the Premium tariff plan will now pay K55,000, down from K61,000, reflecting a nine percent drop while Compact Plus users will now part with K35,700 every month from K42,100.
Customers subscribed to Compact plan will now need K22,300 to enjoy the services, down from K23,800 while those on Family bouquet will enjoy a cut of 24 percent to K12,700 from K16,700.
“This significant price drop, coupled with the major boost in entertainment value across all DStv bouquets demonstrates our commitment to ensuring that DStv customers receive the best possible access to great entertainment and outstanding value,” MultiChoice said in the statement.
And speaking during a cocktail for journalists in Blantyre, MultiChoice Malawi Marketing Manager, Chimwemwe Nyirenda, said MultiChoice intends to bring more incentives for its customers in the coming year.
“Our ultimate goal is to offer the best entertainment to our subscribers but at a fair price,” he said.
