“I am in Barcelona, Spain, now but I will have to travel to where I am performing,” he said.

Faith has made strides in his music, performing with his band but also as a one-man band where he plays several instruments on his own.

“I have learnt a lot through all these tours I make. It’s good for us to connect with others and, most importantly, share my music and tell stories about Malawi,” he said.

The musician in June this year was in Europe where he performed in Germany and Austria.

Over the years, the artist has had performances in Europe including performing at the Glastonbury Festival.

On his album Kalilima, he said it was ready and that people can access music videos such as ‘Ndi Konkuno’.

Meanwhile Balaka-based musical group Alleluya Band continues with its performances in Italy. The group is expected back next month, having left in June.

Madalitso Band, the duo of Yosefe Kalekeni and Yobu Maligwa, is also in the UK on their European tour which has taken them to France and Norway.

The duo is expected to share the stage with Faith in two shows in the UK before they return home on August 12.
