mwawiMalawi netball star, Mwawi Kumwenda, continues to garner more votes in the International World Games Association Athlete of the Year award, with her count nearing the 10,000- mark.

At 9,671 votes as of Firday, the New Zealand-based shooter had further widened the gap between herself and the nearest contenders, Dmitry and Olga Kulikova of Russia, who had 3,888.
