Mybucks Bank partners Airtel in money transfer
Mybucks Banking Corporation and Airtel Money have sealed a partnership to ensure convenient and simplified money transfer for their customers.
Through the partnership, which also aims to drive financial inclusion, Airtel Money subscribers will make real-time transfers to their MyBucks Bank accounts.
MyBucks Customers registered on MyBucks’ *632# mobile banking will also be able to make instant transfers to their Airtel Money wallet.
MyBucks Brand & Public Relations Manager, Tidzi Chalamba, said the deal would help customers transact within the comfort of their homes.
“This pact with Airtel Money is a stepping stone towards realizing our purpose of making people’s lives better through convenient and simplified banking using technology and partnerships.
“We truly believe that this offering will give our current and potential customers the ultimate convenience that meets their needs and expectations while helping them save time off their busy schedules to focus on other things,” Chalamba said.
Airtel Money Director, Polycarp Ndekana, said the integration provides customers more options to transact conveniently and instantly.
“The synergy between our platforms will bring MyBucks branches right to the consumer, providing them with access to Airtel Money’s features such as airtime and bundle purchases, utility bill payments and sending and receiving money,” said Ndekana.
Through this partnership, MyBucks and Airtel Money customers will digitally connect to the bank’s 17 branches and 80 Agency banking points, coupled with Airtel Money’s countrywide network of agents, kiosks and branches whenever they want to cash out or transact between the two platforms.
To access the service, customers intending to push money from their Airtel Money wallet to MyBucks Bank Account should dial *211#, then choose 6 (Bank) and follow the subsequent prompts. While customers transferring funds from their MyBucks account into their Airtel Money wallet should dial *632#, then select 6 (to Bank wallet) and follow subsequent prompts.
