National Bank of Malawi rewards dedicated staff
National Bank of Malawi (NBM) on Monday recognised over 17 of its longest serving staff members at an event held at its Learning and Growth Centre in Blantyre.
The 17 have served in various capacities within the hierarchy of the bank for periods not less than 25 years.
The bank also honoured Matthews Tsere, who has just retired after 37 years of continuous service.
NBM Acting Chief Executive Officer, Mac Fussy Kawawa, spoke highly of the awardees, describing them as a team of committed and hard-working staff.
“You will go in the records of NBM as a team that has played a very crucial role in ensuring growth of the bank. Your service to the bank has been of high repute,” Kawawa told the awardees.
He further commended the team for what he rated as good customer care which has played a role in instilling customer trust and confidence in the bank.
