Nchalo United hire Mac Donald Yobe as assistant coach
Southern Region Football Association League Premier Division champions, Nchalo United, have hired Mac Donald Yobe as assistant to Head Coach Charles Manda.
Yobe inspired Chikwawa United to second position in the regional league and is expected to help Manda in the team’s quest to make the grade in the TNM Super League.
Nchalo General Secretary, Beston Malunga, confirmed the development yesterday.
“It is true that Yobe is our assistant coach. But I will come back to you later for the details,” Malunga said.
Yobe also confirmed the development and said he is ready to help the team perform well in the elite league.
“By the end of this week, I will be at Nchalo. We have agreed on everything. I have no problem working as Manda’s assistant. He has been my friend for a long time.
“We played together at Wanderers and the national team. He is a good coach, so we just have to sit down and plan for the new season,” Yobe said.
Yobe was also an assistant to Peter Mponda at Premier Bet Wizards before he joined Chikwawa United.
