Nchalo United won’t sign Charles Kalaile
Forgotten former Nyasa Big Bullets’ midfielder, Charles Kalaile, is among players that have failed to pass trials at Nchalo United.
Nchalo Coach, Charles Manda, Thursday confirmed that he released Kalaile alongside eight other players.
“He did not impress during the trials, so we released him with other eight players so as to give them an opportunity to try their luck elsewhere,” Manda said.
Once a promising star, Kalaile had stints with clubs in Mozambique and South Africa before going into oblivion.
Commenting on pre-season preparations, Manda said they have a variety of players who are capable of forming a formidable side.
“The top-flight league is different from the Premier Division, as players have to be psychologically and physically ready for the huge task. That is what we are doing. We have players such as Onesimo Mbendera and others from Blantyre United, Masters Security, Azam Tigers who are trying their luck with us. We hope to come up with a formidable side,” Manda said.
Formerly called Sucoma, Nchalo earned Super League promotion alongside Karonga United and TN Stars.
