Ndaziona Chatsalira joins ENH FC in Mozambique

Former Silver Strikers and defunct Escom United attacking midfielder Ndaziona Chatsalira has joined ENH FC after spending a season at Ferraviario de Nacala.
This means Chatsalira has joined the third club since moving to Mozambique in 2016 when he signed for Ferraviario de Nampula alongside Schumacher Kuwali and Green Harawa.
However, his debut has been delayed after the Mocambola League was also suspended due to Covid-19.
The former Flames midfielder said he was excited to join another club.
“Life is good with my new teammates and they have helped me a lot since I joined them. The coach is also supporting me all the time. We are training individually due to Coronavirus and sometimes the coach invites players to his home for sessions,” he said.
The midfielder is still in Mozambique although some of the local stars returned home due to coronavirus pandemic.
Last season, Chatsalira netted seven goals in the Mocambola League. Former Flames and Be Forward Wanderers defender Moses Chavula played for ENH for three years before he was released at the end of his contract last year.
Chatsalira made headlines when he moved to Silver from Escom at a transfer fee of K6 million. He was also part of the Flames which took part in the Cecafa Cup held in Tanzania and Uganda. Several Malawian players ply their trade in Mozambique including Frank Banda, John Banda and Schumacher Kuwali (all UD Songo).
