Civo United utility midfielder, Nelson Kangunje has ruled out a move away from the club in this transfer window.
The midfielder is one of the hot properties in the transfer window after a solid performance in the TNM Super League and the Standard Bank Cup last season.
Giants including Nyasa Big Bullets, Be Forward Wanderers and Silver Strikers are reportedly monitoring the Civo playmaker.
In an interview recently, the former Epac star insisted he has no plans to swap green, yellow (Civo traditional colours) for another team this season.
“I played the best season of my career last year. I believe I will develop well as a player at Civo. At the moment, I am enjoying my career and everything is fine,” he said.
The midfielder also said he is only focusing on helping Civo to finish in the four in the TNM Super League next season.
“We showed last season that we are a good team. Our target is to finish on a good position and at least win a cup,” he added.
Civo’s Standard Bank Cup defence is in danger having finished on position 10 in the TNM Super League with 34 points. Only top six teams earn an automatic qualification whereas two teams are voted by the bank’s customers.
Kangunje inspired Civo to end cup drought when they won the Standard Bank Cup after beating cup specialists, Wanderers 1-0 at Civo Stadium.
He also finished as the Standard Bank Cup top goal scorer with two goals alongside teammate, Raphael Phiri
