New advisory firm enters local market
A new portfolio management and advisory firm, Bridgepath Capital Limited, has entered the market with a promise to bridge existing gap in the industry.
Bridgepath Chief Executive Officer, Emmanuel Chokani, said the company will be offering services including investment management, companies’ valuation, raising capital for companies and prepare business plans, among other.
He said companies and individuals with capacity to make substantial investments in the economy are mum for lack of relevant advice.
“…for example, for companies to access pension funds as capital they need to present projects that reach a certain criteria especially projecting that the money is going to be safe, the project is viable and profitable and we are here to provide advice to get companies reach that criterion.
“We believe that we are putting in place the required technical team to make a difference in asset management, corporate finance area and bring some level of independence by not being linked some of the larger institutions and we hope we are poised for success,” Chokani said
He said coming in of the firm has also helped creating job opportunities.
