Nayuchi Aids Network Services (Nanes), has been commended for their ceaseless efforts to partner with women in persuading girls to realise their potential towards education to achieve their goals.

The women hailed the organisation last Tuesday at Mlirankhandwe Primary School, in the area of Senior Chief Kawinga, in Machinga, when Nanes Director, Chifuniro Moya, met them to assess the impact of the fight against illiteracy levels in the district.

In his remarks, Moya said mothers can assist in reducing school dropout rates among girls, if they are always in the forefront supporting the girl child’s education, encouraging the girls to work hard and enjoy the fruits of their labour later.

Moya further said girls should be helped through the creation of a vibrant communication network among the targets to curb malpractices that could stop them from achieving their ambitions.

” We will insist on collaborating with mother groups to ensure that they carry out their duties easily so that girls are able to learn in a conducive environment. Besides facing numerous challenges, girls need to realise their capabilities to contribute much to the society.

Hence, we will never leave them alone until the intended goals are achieved,” Moya said.

He further urged women to be cooperative to ably meet girls’ demands for quality education.

” When we educate the girl child, we have educated the nation. So, let us encourage them to approach us when they seek interventions on obstacles to mould them into productive and responsible citizens in the future,” he said.
