‘Nomads 75 percent ready’
Be Forward Wanderers Coach, Jack Chamangwana, has rated his charges’ preparedness for 2016 TNM Super League season at 75 percent.
Chamangwana gave the rating on Monday when asked about the performance of the Nomads, who defeated Cobbe Barracks and Max Bullets by 1-0 margins during friendlies on Saturday and Sunday respectively.
Defender Foster Namwela and midfielder Rafiq Mussa scored on Saturday and Sunday respectively, an indication that Chamangwana has work cut out for him to improve on finishing.
“We are 75 percent ready. We look very prepared. The area that needs polishing up is finishing. We are creating scoring opportunities but the guys just need more composure in front of the goal posts,” the coach explained.
During the two games, Jabulani Linje and Peter Wadabwa were paired before Jimmy Zakazaka also stepped in. New signing from Japan, Genki Nakamura, also joined the attack.
Chamangwana was impressed with the defence, which seems to have improved with the return from Mozambique of Namwela.
