Be Forward Wanderers have beefed up their Executive Committee after co-opting Andrew Mwadala.
Mwadala replaces Duncan Jumbe, who relinquished his role after he was elected Southern Region Youth Football Committee Chairperson.
Wanderers General Secretary, Mike Butao, confirmed the co-opting of Mwadala.
“We have been operating off balance somehow so we wanted someone whom we can delegate other assignments,” he said.
Butao said Mwadala was among Wanderers’ genuine supporters having been following the team for ages.
“He has been close to the team for some time and we know that he will not disappoint us,” he said.
Mwadala promised to serve Wanderers wholeheartedly.
“I don’t take it for granted that I have been co-opted. I am willing to help the executive to promote the interests of the club also players’ welfare,” he said.
