Be Forward Wanderers Vice General Secretary, Chulu Mkangama, has stepped down from his post.
The resignation comes just days after Wanderers fired the Bob Mpinganjira-led technical panel after losing two consecutive games.
Mkangama said he decided to quit because of commitments that have kept him away from the club for several months.
“It is with regret that I tendered my resignation from the club I love most. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I have had difficulties in committing myself to club activities for the past few months.
“But I will forever cherish the many good, bad and ugly times I have had at this great club. I wish Wanderers all the best as it continues striving to reach greater heights,” Mkangama said.

He becomes the second top official to step down at Lali Lubani Road after executive committee member, Gawanani Banda, also resigned recently on personal grounds.
Mkangama had replaced Christopher Kananji, who chose not to seek re-election at the end of his tenure last year.
Wanderers General Secretary, Mike Butao, did not answer his mobile phone to comment on the development.
Chulu was elected to the position after serving the club as vice treasurer for four years.
Wanderers have started the season on a low, having lost 3-1 to Blue Eagles in the TNM Super League and 1-0 to Silver Strikers in a first leg quarterfinal match of the Airtel Top 8 Cup.
