After exciting the music industry with the hit ‘Yalumaluma’ years ago, musician Nyanesi is back in the fold and this time he has featured in a gospel track.
The new gospel track is titled ‘Kulimbana Kwakukulu’, and it was originally composed by Israel Mwamlima, a Zomba-based up-and-coming gospel musician.
The track’s message dwells much on a gallant fight between the devil and a believer where, at the end, the devil is the loser as scriptures clearly say the devil’s job is only to kill, steal and destroy.
Asked why he chose to feature Nyanesi, Mwamlima, said since the song was done in a traditional way, and the fact that Nyanesi is also good at such music, he saw it wise to utilise him.
“The devil is always the loser but the key message is that we should always be alert and always look up to God because He is the winner,” the artist, who plans to release an album, said.
Mwamlima said the music video for the track is ready and that it will be premiered Tuesday.
Nyanesi, real name Charles Yubu, said he was optimistic that people will love the song.
“The message is powerful in the song and the track is also danceable,” Nyanesi said
