Zikani Kasambala put Rumphi ahead with one of the fastest goals barely a minute after kick off when the visitors were caught day dreaming.

However, Bullets responded swiftly with Hassan Kajoke netting a brace whereas Babatunde Adepoju scored the third goal.

This was Bullets’ first win in the second round having dropped two points against Kamuzu Barracks last week when they drew 1-1.

At Kamuzu Stadium, Mighty Mukuru Wanderers misfired as they drew 0-0 with Mighty Wakawaka Tigers.

Wanderers had the chance to claim full points towards the end of the match as they were awarded a penalty following a foul on striker Misheck Botomani.
