Nyasa Big Bullets target more signings

TNM Super League champions Nyasa Big Bullets have disclosed that they will sign some new players following the departure of some of their key players.
Bullets have been quiet on the player transfer market, having only signed midfielder Chawanangwa Gumbo from Ekwendeni Hammers and striker Maxwell Gasten Phodo, who joined as a free agent after the expiry his contract at Silver Strikers.
’’Kalisto Pasuwa expects to make new additions to his squad following the departure of some members of first team,’’ Bullets posted on their official Facebook page yesterday.
The club did not disclose the identities of the players expected to be recruited.
Bullets have lost Nigerian striker Babatunde Adepoju, who joined South Africa’s National First Division side Venda Football Academy; Chimwemwe Idana, who left the club after failing to agree on terms; Hassan Kajoke, who signed a pre-contract with Silver; and Misheck Selemani, who refused to extend his contract.
However, Bullets are expected to promote some players from their reserve side ahead of the season. For a third consecutive year, Bullets will take part in the Caf Champions League this year. Sports analyst Sherry Msuku said Bullets need to beef up their squad.
The team is expected to host a pre-season international tournament which will attract two foreign teams from Mozambique; Ferraviario de Nampula and UD Songo. Mighty Mukuru Wanderers will also take part in the competition
