One Lilongwe arson victim die

A 15-year-old victim of the Area 22 UTM office arson in Lilongwe died at Kamuzu Central Hospital where he was admitted together with six other family members, the hospital’s administrator Jonathan Ngoma has confirmed.
“Yes I can confirm the death of one of the victims,” Ngoma said. Seven family members had their bodies severely burnt after the building they were sleeping in—the UTM office—was torched by unknown assailants.
Meanwhile the European Union Delegation, the Heads of Mission of Germany and Ireland and the Heads of Mission of Norway, the United Kingdom and the United States have condemned the violence that is being perpetuated in the country.
In a statement released Wednesday, the diplomats have called for comprehensive investigations into the attacks.
