Onesimus in Africa tour

South Africa-based musician Onesimus has said that he will tour the African continent with his latest album titled Epikaizo Volume 2.

Onesimus real name Armstrong Kalua confirmed on Sunday of the Africa tour saying the whole project is being driven by Prophetic Channel through what he dubs Onesimus Muzik.

“I am starting with Namibia on January 29 and then will proceed to Botswana, Swaziland and Lesotho in February and I will be in Zambia in March,” he said.

Onesimus, who used to do secular before he turned born again, could not indicate when he will be in the country.

“At the moment I can’t say when I will be home but my Public Relations team will communicate on that otherwise I am looking forward to the day I will perform in Malawi,” he said.

The album which was recorded in South Africa sold 10,000 copies during a recent event at FNB Stadium, according to Onesimus.

The 14-track album among others features the song ‘Miracle Money’.

The musician described ‘Miracle Money,’ as a gift from God and that it was a demonstration of power from God to show his children that He can provide for them.

However despite the music video receiving much praise for its quality pictures, sound and creativity, some quarters have hit at the musician saying his lyrical content in the song is praising Prophet Shepherd Bushiri instead of God.

But Onesimus said God performs miracles through his servants and that in the song he is only honouring God’s servant Prophet Bushiri who has the powers given by God to perform miracles.

“I know the problem is not the concept of ‘Miracle Money,’ but people have a negative attitude towards my [spiritual] father Prophet Shepherd Bushiri and they fail to accept that he is a true man of God,” he said.

The singer said he loves Malawi and that he is looking forward to the day when people will understand the ways of God in “these end times.”

“I am happy with the response the song has received and I hope it touches many souls to accept this anointing,” he said.

In the song the message comes out that Onesimus is poor but then he receives the anointing through Prophet Bushiri after watching his preaching on TV and then his life finally changes as he moves out of poverty.

Apart from ‘Miracle Money,’ the other songs currently on the ground include: ‘Heavenly Defended,’ and ‘Looking for Somebody.’

Onesimus has said Epikaizo Volume 2 is a continuation of the journey that Prophet Bushiri started after he released Epikaizo Volume 1.
