Onesimus set for England

Musician Onesimus is set to perform in England at Clayton Hotel in Leeds as his fans anticipate the release of his fourth studio album.

In 2021, the artist, through his social media platforms, announced that he will tour the United States of America in July this year but, according to his manager Tonderai Banda, the plans have since been postponed with an alternative to on 9 July perform in Leeds, England, for the Malawi Independence Celebration.

In an interview with Times, Banda said they plan to have him perform at other joints in England after the Independence Day celebrations.

“We put the USA tour on hold. He will perform in that country later on. We are expected to leave for England in the first week of July but we are also eager to travel to neighboring countries,” he said.

He however did not disclose when the album is expected to drop.

“We are still finalizing mixing of the album. But in due time we will make our announcements. We want to release both audio and videos at the same time so we want to take our time before we make official announcements,” he said.

When contacted, Onesimus said he has not yet given the album a title.

The artist, who has of late been making headlines following an uncertainty of whether he is still a gospel artist or a secular artist, shared a few titles of some of the songs in the album – including “Tonight,” which features Nigerian artist Fireboy.
