BE Forward Wanderers Coach Yasin Osman has dismissed reports of bad blood between him and attacking midfielder Jafali Chande.

Chande did not make the squad last week when Wanderers traveled to the Central Region for TNM Super League games.

“Chande got injured in training last week. There is no rift between us and I don’t know where those rumours are emanating from,” said Osman.

Osman is reported to have dropped Chande from the squad that faced Moyale in the Airtel Top 8 semifinal after he reacted angrily when he was substituted in the quarterfinal second leg match against Azam Tigers at Kalulu stadium in Nchalo.

“Our doctors are still assessing him and when he gets well, he will be back in the team. He is an important player and we are missing him. There is no wisdom in a coach having grudges against his own players,” Osman explained.

Chande could not be reached on his mobile phone for a comment. The former Big Bullets player is one of the Nomads’ regular goalscorers.
