Youth pastor, artist, writer and entrepreneur Melvin Kalepa will Saturday launch his book Sons of Good Report at Golden Peacock in Blantyre.
Pastors seem to have realised the beauty and importance of writing books as many have of late, launched books tackling various issues affecting society.
The red carpet launch will be spiced up by performances from Minister Tisa and Desire Manda.
Kalepa said Thursday that Sons of Good Report book rests on the great promise that “when God sees someone taking up the mighty weapons of God, in the name of Jesus, and dares to do the impossible, He resembles the resources of heaven to bring that someone total victory”.
“Sons of Good Report is for the daring ones. It is for those people who believe God for the impossible and watch it come to pass. As sure as the sun, the scriptures reiterate that each one of us will one day give an account of our lives to God. It will be something personal, it will be you and you alone; your spouse, family, friends, colleagues and so on will not be there,” the writer said.
He said he took his time to craft the book and that it would give people an insight and practical wisdom into what they need to do and how to do it so that they obtain a good report before God.
“The inspiration of the book comes from my personal relationship with God and the things I encountered and experienced during my personal study of the scriptures and intensive research of church history and where we are right now,” Kalepa said.
He said he was looking forward to the launch Saturday and called upon people to patronise the event.
