Gospel singer Phalyce Mang’anda has resurfaced with two albums – one of which is a worship collection carrying songs from the hymn titled Worship and Hymns Cord.
The worship album has 11 songs whereas her other album titled Yesu Ndi Nkhani Zina has 10 songs.
“It’s been some time since I released new songs but I am happy that God’s perfect time is here. I have two albums because I was looking at reaching out to all people with their needs, the worship targets those, who love worship songs and then the other album has songs that are gospel but with other genres,” she said.
The two albums were recorded at M Studios by Steve Mereka and Macdonald Indonga.
Now calling herself Daughter of Zion, Mang’anda, said her songs were meant to minister the word of God.
“The songs are there to entertain them as well but the main purpose is to minister the word of God. There are songs with powerful messages and so, I urge people to listen to the songs attentively. There are songs with a message of hope to the hopeless,” she said.
Other gospel artists have done the same in the past releasing two albums and also working on worship albums, but Mang’anda, insisted that her work was different.
“These are different songs and unique. For songs in the hymns, most of them they are familiar with but they will love the way I have done them,” Mang’anda said.
The hymns and worship album has songs such as ‘Wandibisira Moyo Wanga’, ‘ Ndidzalandira Korona’, ‘Yesu Ndinu Oyera’, and ‘Yesu Mtsogolere Ine’.
The album – Yesu Ndi Nkhani Zina has songs such as ‘Amai Ndinu Golide’, ‘Wasenza Mtanda’, ‘Saiwala’, and ‘Khalani Nakusasanyika’.
Mang’anda’s previous albums are Ndaomboledwa, Eloi and Mangani Malamba.
