It was supposed to be the first show for Piksy, but the Blantyre-based artist showed that experience helps one sail on strange waters without problems.
This was the case at the ‘Valentine Unplugged Night’ event held at College of Medicine Sports Complex Friday evening.
It was the first event after the Sports Complex joined hands with Cre8ive Ent. to be holding a string of events.
Piksy did not disappoint when he was featured in a live acoustic set.
Cre8ive Ent. Public Relations Manager, Upile Malenga, in an interview hailed Piksy’s performance, as well as the antics of poets who took time to recite before an impressive audience.
“It was a good show and we hope for the best,” Malenga said.
Apart from Piksy, who played ‘Mthunzi’ and ‘Angozo’, DNA also performed.
Karaoke was another activity, which saw patrons try their luck at becoming Malawi’s next big talent as they went head to head with the microphone.
