Piksy working on acoustic project
After several months of silence, urban artist Piksy, real name Evans Zangazanga, Monday revealed that he is working on an acoustic project set to be released in March next year.
The revelation came after Piksy’s release of two new singles, Kameneka and Ndikungo.
The acoustic project, which will feature international artists such as Rough Kid from Zambia and Manding Morry from Gambia and local artists like San B and Peter Sambo, will include Piksy’s well-known songs as well as four new songs that he is working on.
“The acoustic project will be live recorded and it will be launched in a corporate place like a hotel so that people who cannot come to places like Robbin’s Park will be able to witness the live performances. My band, Langwani Movement, will be playing the instruments,” he said.
Piksy, who has two albums to his credit, is also working on his third album Mtunda which will be launched in August next year.
