Premier Bet Wizards feel motivated with Big Bullets draw
Premier Bet Wizards Coach Trevor Kajawa has said his team has been highly motivated with Sunday’s 1-1 draw against Nyasa Big Bullets ahead of its weekend games in Mzuzu.
Kajawa said the result has given his players confidence that they can collect maximum points in the Northern Region as they lock horns with Mzuni.
“Bullets is a big team and we are happy that we have collected a point against them. We are going to Mzuzu believing in ourselves that we can collect maximum points against Mzuni,” Kajawa said.
He, however, cautioned his players to guard against overconfidence, saying they are meeting a tough team that will be backed by its vocal supporters.
In sharp contrast, Bullets Team Manager, James Chilapondwa, said the draw was not good for the former Super League kings.
“We needed to score more goals in the first 10 minutes. We created scoring chances but we have paid for failing to convert them. But we are not losing hope. There are more games to come and we will catch up,” he explained.
A win would have taken Bullets to the top of the log table but Misheck Botomani cancelled out Bright Munthali’s 45th minute opener with 10 minutes to go to leave the match square.
