Premier Bet Wizards want improved sponsorship
Premier Bet Wizards have proposed to their sponsor an increase of the Super League team’s sponsorship package.
Wizards received K10 million sponsorship package from Premier Bet Limited mid-way last season.
Wizard’s owner and Technical Director, Peter Mponda, said they need money to motivate the team’s players.
“In the first place, I am very thankful to our sponsor, Premier Bet, because they came at time when we had nothing after parting ways with Fisd Company,” Mponda said.
“They did a lot to us and we managed to survive relegation. However, we still feel that they can do better by considering us in increasing the package so that we can assemble a good squad that can stand the heat of the elite league.”
Mponda presented the proposal to Premier Bet last week.
The Former Flames’ and Nyasa Big Bullets captain also disclosed that Wizards will not sell any player this season.
He said the only players who will be sold are those who want to leave. Wizards will regroup next week for pre-season.
