Wholly Malawian insurance firm, Reunion Insurance, on Tuesday launched an online portal aimed at simplifying the insurance purchase process.
Dubbed Reunion Online, the platform was developed by ICT services provider, Globe Internet Limited.
With the facility, customers will be able to transact from the comfort of their homes and offices.
Speaking at the launch, Reunion Insurance Technical Manager Hastings Kapesa rated the facility as a game changer in the insurance industry.
“Customers can now buy, renew, upgrade or inquire about Reunion services online. Customers will also be receiving policy certificates online as a PDF copy,” he said.
Globe Internet Limited Chief Commercial Officer Elias Imaan hailed the partnership his firm has with Reunion in bringing convenience to the market.
“We had to develop a system that is relevant to today’s era and be used as long as one has internet access,” Imaan said.
