Richard Chipuwa to buyout Nomads contract
Be Forward Wanderers goalkeeper, Richard Chipuwa, has been advised to buyout his contract from the Nomads to make his move to Mozambican club, CD Chingale, permanent.
Despite his insistence that he was no longer contracted to Wanderers, details have emerged that Chipuwa has a running contract with Wanderers.
Wanderers general secretary, Mike Butao, said they have released Chipuwa to CD Chingale on a six-month loan deal.
Butao said Chipuwa was still contracted to Wanderers up to April.
“Besides that, Chipuwa also signed a two-year contract extension that would have ended in April 2018. Although he was making some remarks in the newspapers that he had no contract with us, we did not want to make any noise. We have released him to go on loan on the understanding that he should buyout his contract,” he said.
Butao said they were being considerate as they did not want to harm Chipuwa hopes of clinching a professional deal.
Chipuwa could neither accept nor deny that he was still contracted to Wanderers.
“All I want is to complete my move to Mozambique and play professional football. I will do whatever I have to make this happen,” he said.
Fam transfer marching system manager, Casper Jangale, said records indicate that Chipuwa had a contract with Wanderers.
