In Blantyre, under-20 boys’ and girls’ teams entertained fans with great runs and tackles in captivating matches.

But the best action was saved for the men’s league, which kicked off in style.

The Jaguars started with a convincing 37-0 win over Thyolo-based Africa Sportasoca.

In another clash, Luncheza came out on top against Ndirande Impala 6-0.

Organiser of the games, Ian Scott, was impressed with all participating teams’ performance.

“We have community coaches here in Blantyre, and it is good to see that they are teaching the boys really well. The standards of play are definitely improving,” Scott said.

Over 150 players took part in the games.
