Ruth Chisale ready for Zambian
Budding lightweight boxer, Ruth Chisale, arrives in Zambia tomorrow in readiness for the World Boxing Council elimination fight against Lolita Muzeya.
Chisale is scheduled to fight on Saturday at Government Complex in Lusaka as they seek to secure the right to vie for the belt.
Chisale, 20, said she was in good spirits ahead of the fight against the Zambian, who has a perfect record of 12 wins, including five knockouts.
“I know that the task is huge. My opponent has a terrific record and I have seen her beating my compatriots. It won’t be an easy fight,” said the Malawian, who is also unbeaten in 10 fights, and has a record of six knockouts.
Muzeya is widely known in boxing circles in Malawi, having defeated Agnes Mtimaukanena- Mwando, Anisha Bashir (twice) and Eneles Nkhwanti (once).
