San B talks more collabos

Honjo star San Bennet Msokera, popularly known as San B, has said that people should look forward to more collaborations from him this year, having dropped his first 2021 collaboration with Skeffa Chimoto.

He said he is happy to start 2021 with his first collaboration with Skeffa, describing him as a unique artist who has his own style and touch.

“Things have not been that good especially with Covid-19 and this has affected the creative industry. Artists are struggling and have not made progress as far as making music is concerned. It is not that they do not have songs but the pandemic has disrupted everything,” San B said Monday.

He said, despite last year being hard due to the pandemic, musicians never stopped composing.

“As musicians or artists, we will continue to do our best as far as giving fans music is concerned. In these difficult times, we need to offer hope through music and art in general,” San B said.

He described the track he has done with Skeffa, titled ‘Amatimvera’, as powerful and that it calls on people not to lose hope whenever they are passing through challenges but rather continue to pray for He always answers and listens.

The song offers hope and strength to people to condemn God but rather continue to praise Him.

“I decided to work with Skeffa because we have different touches that make great collaboration. I am happy with the way the song has come out and I hope to do more with him,” San B said.

Skeffa, popularly known as The Jamming Machine for his energetic and electric live acts, has said a number of times that he is always open to work with different artists.

He said he is working on one song at a time and that people should brace for more.

San B has worked with producers such as Don Foxxy and Tricky Beats in some of the collaborations.

The artist has seven albums to his credit and they include Nkhutukumve, Sweet Poem, 371, No Private Life, Acceptability and Fruits of 66.
