ONESIMUS —Our haters need to heal

South Africa-based gospel musician Onesimus is set to release his second track for the year 2020 titled ‘Panado’.

Panado is a popular drug that helps to ease pain.

The track ‘Panado’ follows the release of ‘Here With Me’, another track that won the hearts of people.

Announcing the upcoming track, Onesimus put out a short video of him performing the new song in a studio.

Onesimus, a former Sony and Telkom ambassador, hinted that ‘Panado’ is a song that addresses jealousy.

In the song which is yet to hit the market, the musician. turned born again t, said in the track, he is singing about people who are always at pains when they see others doing well in life.

“Brand new song coming your way ‘Panado’, our haters need to heal,” that is the message the 2019 Afrima Award Best Male Artist is coming out with as he captioned the video teaser on Instagram.

Onesimus said he has been working on several musical projects despite the world battling Covid-19 pandemic.

He said just as people loved ‘Here With Me’, they will also get to love ‘Panado’.

“I can feel it in my body so many people are to be healed by this Panado,” reacted Macdonald Chijaka as he commented on the post Onesimus shared with his 100,000+ followers on Instagram.

Another fan Alex Ouman Muranda said: “Another hit again! Onesimus has done it again. This guy has become a strong vessel in the prophetic ministry, we thank God for your life”.

Onesimus, who recently celebrated his fourth wedding anniversary has maintained his momentum on the African music scene since he released his gospel albums Epikaizo in 2016 and Messenger in 2019.

And as he seeks to position himself on the global market, Onesimus has released other songs such as ‘Baba God’, featuring South Africa’s music heavyweight Vusi Nova, ‘FOYU’ featuring Nigerian superstar Tekno, ‘Anelisa’, and ‘Serious Matter’.

The musician formerly known as Armstrong told the BBC early this year that he makes music for everyone.

“Being a gospel artist, I am using the African platform to preach peace, unity, togetherness and oneness,” he said.

Onesimus is signed to Major One Records spearheaded by Prophet Shepherd Bushiri.
