FDH Bank Cup champions Silver Strikers Monday continued celebrating the victory after three of their players scooped individual awards.
Silver’s goalie Charles Thom emerged best goalkeeper of the tournament after beating other nominees; Rumphi United’s Innocent Nyasulu and Charles Mtete of Ekwendeni.
The bankers’ midfielder Blessings Tembo was named player of the tournament after impressing when he featured in the team’s all five games in the competition.
Mighty Mukuru Wanderers striker Vincent Nyangulu went away with the golden boot award after scoring four goals.
Midfielder Zebron Kalima was all smiles when he emerged discovery player of the season.
All the winners went home with a miniature and K200,000 each.
Tembo said he was happy with the award.
“I thank all those who are behind this because this is not an individual achievement. There were other best players who could have won but I thank God for this,” he said.
